We Melburnians are nothing if not stylish, and within days of masks becoming the 'must-have' item of lockdown, startlingly great versions began to pop up all over our Melbourne streets. Bandanas had their moment, and the ubiquitous black mask is somehow so Melbourne, but there's nothing like a pop of colour to make a dull day just that tiny bit better. Now that ULO have come to the party with their gorgeous African wax print mask designs, YOU can be the one with the mask your neighbours covet!
ULO face masks include three layers of breathable African wax print cotton & poly-cotton with pleats allowing adjustment to different facial contour and elastic loops attached to fit comfortably around your ears.
“Ulo means ‘Home’ in the native language of the Igbo people in Nigeria, West Africa.”
Founder and designer Dinzi Amobi says: “I grew up with this fabric. I wore this fabric as a child. My mother, father, sisters, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and school friends also dressed in this fabric. My family dined with this fabric. My mother furnished our home with this fabric. For me, this fabric has memories - memories which create a story. A story which I wish to share with you.”
ULO is proudly made in Melbourne, Australia.
Material(s): African wax print cotton fabric, poly-cotton lining and elastic loops.

* We recommend a machine wash on a cold cycle with similar colours before you use it for the first time. Hang to dry. Press gently to smooth out any wrinkles from the wash process

* Due to hygiene reasons, these masks are final sale and can not be exchanged or returned.
* Please keep in mind that because these masks are handmade (and full of character!), the mask you receive will vary slightly from those pictured.
