Glow-up your skin with this Ylang Ylang and Orange Body Oil, and take yourself out to be seen! This Melbourne-made Body Oil is designed to deliver an all-over scent and skin nourishment, and give a lick of luxury to hardworking, sunkissed (or winter-neglected) bodies. 'Life's a Parade' Body Oil is made from sustainably sourced, vegan-friendly ingredients by Kleins, our favourite Australian perfumers.
Kleins began as one of Australia's first dedicated perfumeries on Brunswick Street in bohemian Fitzroy. Almost twenty five years later, founder Andrea Birnie took her insight and experience and - working in close collaboration with the Rennie Ellis Archive - launched Kleins' own range of body-care products.
The images of 1970s, 80s, and 90s Australia, as captured through the lens of Rennie Ellis (1940 – 2003), are widely regarded as seminal portraits of a country exploring its wilder self. Ellis himself was interested in the offbeat and in the freedom of Australia in these times. Through his photography, Ellis explored a myriad of subcultures, documenting intriguing characters and a different time in history.
Kleins' Rennie Ellis series combines a proudly Australian made product with a proudly Australian talent, taking the audacious, sexy and often shocking photography of Melbourne's most famous social photographer, Rennie Ellis, as its inspiration.
The 'Life's a Parade' Body Oil features Rennie Ellis' photograph 'Life's a Parade' - Melbourne, 1985.
