Built on the site of one of the oldest river crossings in the city, Princes Bridge is a focus for many of Melbourne's celebrations - from the Moomba Festival, to our largest local Marathon (for which it is closed to traffic), and New Years Eve fireworks displays. Princes Bridge is a nostalgic and meaningful spot for many Melburnians as it forms one of only a handful of river crossings to the bay area from Melbourne's city centre.
